I feel that the way speak is too entangled with our identity to change because its part of who we are. If you talk a certain way it grows on. It may be hard to change your speech when you are so accustomed to talking that way. In certain situations we are sometimes forced to change the way we speak. For Example: If you want to get a job and go to the interview looking professional
they way that you normally speak(which might not be proper english) can jepordise your chances of getting a job that might require you speaking correctly. Different types of jobs require you to speak a different way of speeche. Some jobs require proper way of speeche and some do not.

What do people mean when they are talking white or black?
When someone says one is talking white they mean that they are talking proper or correctly. When one is talking white they are talking correct english. In this world talking white or "standard english" gets you a lot of places. Most people talk that way to accomplish what that they have to do in the modern world. When someone says one is talking black, they mean ignorant or incorrectly. Blacks have always been protrayed as ignorant or illiterate therefore not capable of talking standard english. When people says that you are talking black they mean you are talking ingnorant. Personally I feel that standard english is just speaking correctly. It shouldn't be known as talking white.Talking white makes it seem that only white people talk that way. Anyone can speak standard english.

Standard English with Education
The affect that non -standard english has on education are a number of things. One is that teachers think less of you. For Example if you speak in a way that teachers do not understand the teachers might feel, because of the way you speak you are not capable of doing regular school work. Most of that notion is focused on black children. If you come to school speaking standard english in a way that the teacher understands you then teachers, even if you are black or white would feel you are more qualitified to do the work. It is really sad that children of the African American race are judged by the way they speak. Teachers sometimes do not realize that just because you talk a cretain way does not mean that you are incapbable of doing work or stupid.

3 Roles
3 ROLES
I know that it may be hard to believe, but I am a mother. I am mentally and physically a mother. Considering my child is not here yet some people may only see me as half a mom. The baby may not be here in my arms, but I still do everything[UCHS1] I can for him. I try to think about what's best for him. Not only am I a mother I am also a friend and big sister[UCHS2]
I am always there for my friends.
I treat as if they were my own flesh and blood.
I would never leave a sister or a brother behind or alone.
My friends are my family.
We stick together.
Not only am I a friend I am also a big sister[UCHS3] .
Being a big sister is not easy. It's hard to keep up with two teenage girls. They think they know everything. They drive me insane. Despite the fact that my sisters' are idiots, I still love them very much. It's my job to watch out for them. I know they may not listen, but I still have to talk. I guess you can say my big sister job has it's own rewards or at least eventually it will[UCHS4] .
In the future I would like to play the role of a wife. I have always dreamt of falling in love and marrying someone who won't screw[UCHS5] me over. Sometimes I am in doubt about even getting married. The race of married people in my family is extinct or at least cursed. I fear the same might happen to me. Then I realized that I can not focus on what my mother or grandmother or great-great mother did. I just have to hope that I choose the right person[UCHS6] that I'm supposedly suppose to spend my life with. You never know what will happen especially in marriage until you try. So I'm taking all the risks.

[UCHS1]This is supposed to be a story. So why don’t you tell us something that you have done.
[UCHS2]You should now have body paragraph about being a mother.
[UCHS3]This paragraph is entirely opinion. I need some examples.
[UCHS4]How do they drive you insane? What do they know? What are the rewards?
[UCHS5]This language doesn’t fit the tone of the rest of the essay.
[UCHS6]How is this connected to the rest of your roles?
