A time where I judged someone based on the way they spoke.
A time when I judged someone based off the way they talked was early this year. It was when I first went to Lit. and Comp 2. There was this girl who sat right next to me. She chewed and popped gum a lot and it annoyed me so much. Then when she spoke it was like she had 2 tongues. She popped her tongue when she talked just like she popped her gum. It was very unpleasant to me. She made no sense. Instead of using "the" she said "da". (As in da club was staright popping or something like that) I thought in my mind she's totally going to fail and she's probably a ho. The next day in class I found out that she was actually a pretty good student. The teacher asked us to say our name and 7 things about ourselves in front of the class for an assignment. She went to present and she told us that her hobbies were reading and writing. She also said that her favorite writer was Maya Angelou and she wanted to be a writer some day. I was shocked! It was like we were twins or something. She wanted to do and be exactly what I wanted. It turned out we had a lot in common. I felt bad for judging her.

How slang is mainly directed towards women?
Slang is a long line of words that males make up. Most of the terms relate to what a woman does or what a women is. Some words would consist of:
-B
-ho
-runner etc.
These terms have delegated from the 80's and have advanced to modern times. These words are used on the streets ,in rap music etc. These terms are very cruel towards women and shouldn't be used ,but sadly they are only getting meaner and more are coming. In my opinion slang comes from the street and often prostitutes are there. I feel that men used these words to insult the women of the streets ,but somehow it ended up being used for anyone who may act like a prostitute. Also some words refer to how a women looks. For Example:
-shawty
-dime
-fire
These are not as bad as the previous ones , but I feel that women (well me in general) would not like to be referred to in such a way. Women are not objects, they are human beings and should be treated with respect.
