Why is it important to Study Language?

I think it's important to study language because it's really important part of a lot of things such as heritage ,religon ,society etc.I feel that society and language are really connected to each other.In society how you present yourself with words depends on how you get a job or even a place to live. The point of the videos was basically to do research on how people in different places and people of different colors speak to prove certain theories. They made the videos so that others could see. People can understand things better when they have a visual aid. My favorite part was when the teachers thought that Black children were incapable of reading because of the way they spoke. I liked this because I had a lot of thoughts on this as well as debates that could prove people who thought like this wrong. My least favorite part was when people thought that people who came from Mexico should have extra help with translating things to Spanish for them. I didn't like this part because people who come from others countries should just be able to learn English if they are planning on living in America. I feel that language changes a lot. It's always going to change weather it by law or generally among people. I also feel that people should stop trying to interfere with it as less as possible.
